The real questions about gutter guards.

Including the one most companies skip.

  1. Do gutter guards really work?

Good ones cut clogging way down. No guard is zero-maintenance: fine debris and pollen can still settle on top and need brushing off now and then. Anyone promising you’ll never touch your gutters again is overselling.

  2. Will they work on my gutters?

Guards need gutters that are sound, sloped properly and well fastened. If yours aren’t, we’ll tell you, and new gutters with guards may be the better route.

  3. Which guards do you install?

  4. What about heavy rain?

It depends on the guard design, your roof pitch and the trees around the house. We explain the tradeoffs for your roof before you choose.
